REC Membership
Elan is a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and all consultants adhere to its practices when recruiting IT staff on behalf of clients. All Elan staff, are required to undertake a programme of continuous development training courses to ensure they are familiar with the best practices in recruitment and technology training.

ATSCO
We work with forums such as ATSCO (Association of Technology Staffing Companies) whose primary objectives are;

To be an effective voice for the IT and COMMS recruitment industry, upholding standards and communicating with members, clients and contract personnel.
To lobby with a view to influencing UK and European government.
To organise shared research on our industry and trends within IT.

By working with such groups we can ensure that we can share ideas and views about the future of the market with our contemporaries.

Intellect

Created by the merger of the CSSA and FEI in 2002, Intellect, is the new association representing the interests of companies in the information technology, telecoms and electronic industries. Intellect, organise workshops, seminars and events to enable members to share best practice as well as lobby the government on key industry issues.

National Computing Centre

The National Computing Centre is an independent membership and research organisation whose mission is to promote the more effective use of information technology. This objective is achieved through the creation and sharing of relevant knowledge and is facilitated by NCC's proven expertise in data and information management. Elan benefit from being a member by being kept informed of current IT issues via published guidelines, surveys, research and also special interest groups, enabling Elan to provide a quality service to our clients and our contractors.

ISO accreditation

Elan employs a permanent quality assurance team to conduct regular audits of internal performance to ensure that all aspects of our service are of the highest standard. In recognition of the high quality of service Elan was awarded ISO 9002 accreditation in March 1993.
